The Cirrus Cotton Conditioner employs an exclusive patented method for adding back some of the moisture removed before the ginning process. Properly applied moisture adds value through a reduction in required baling forces, preservation of fiber strength, and reduction of static electricity in the downstream spinning process. The Cherokee Cirrus Cotton Conditioner fits between the Battery Condenser and the Lint Slide, and also virtually eliminates battery condenser chokes caused by a back-up in the lint slide. The batt is fed from the Battery Condenser between two stainless steel perforated drums. Warm moist air is provided by a Moisture Unit, and warm dry air from a small burner is used to keep the Cirrus drums warm and clean.
